The coronavirus has led to lockdown across the country and people are locked in homes. This virus is more prone to older people. Paytm Payments Bank has introduced a home-made cash facility for senior citizens and persons with disabilities so that they do not have to get out of the house during the corona epidemic. With the help of this new service, they can send a request for cash to their Paytm Payments Bank and the amount will be delivered to their home.

The bank had earlier launched the DBT facility

According to the bank, the cash at home facility is aimed at making customers’ banking experience more convenient and easy. Recently, the bank launched direct benefits transfer (DBT) facility so that customers can transfer more than 400 government subsidies directly to their PPBL savings account.

Here’s the process

The process is extremely easy to take advantage of this feature. Any senior citizen who has a savings account with the bank can go to the app and enter their amount and then submit it. The bank executive will deliver your amount to your registered home address within two days. You can avail delivery of a minimum amount of Rs. 1000 and a maximum of Rs. 5000.

According to the bank, it hopes that this facility will relieve customers of the hassle of going to banks or ATMs and help them stay home during the il lockdown period. Satish Kumar Gupta, CEO, and MD, Paytm Payments Bank, said that the cash facility will help those who cannot go to the bank’s branch or ATM for their age, health, or any other reason.
